Privacy policy

The short version

Your business figures never leave your browser. Every calculation runs on your own device. Your average order value, margins, costs, ad spend and results are never uploaded, never transmitted to us, and never stored on any server. We could not see them if we wanted to.

What stays on your device

The tool saves your inputs in your browser’s local storage so your numbers are still there when you come back. That data sits on your computer or phone, under your control. Clearing your browser data deletes it, and nothing is sent to us in the process. Your licence key, if you have one, is stored the same way.

What we do collect

• Analytics. We may use a privacy-focused analytics tool to count page views and see which pages are used. This records things like the page visited, approximate country, and the type of device. It does not record what you type into the calculator.
• Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, records standard request information such as IP address and browser type, for security and to serve the site. This is normal for any website.
• Email, if you write to us. If you contact us we keep the message and your address so we can reply.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record. They collect the information needed to take payment and meet tax obligations, including your name, email, country and card details. We never receive or store your payment details. Their privacy policy governs that data.

Third parties we rely on

• Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the site
• Lemon Squeezy — payments, invoicing and licence keys
• Fontshare — the typeface used on the site
• cdnjs — the PDF library, loaded only when you generate a report

Loading a font or a script means your browser requests a file from those providers, which necessarily reveals your IP address to them. None of them receive your calculator inputs.

Cookies

The tool itself sets no cookies. Local storage is used instead, and it is not shared with us or anyone else. If analytics is enabled it may set a cookie or similar identifier; where consent is required by law, it will be requested.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Because we hold almost nothing — your calculator data is not ours to hold — such requests are usually simple. Write to hello@roaschart.com.

This is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
